I’m Eren Iscioglu, founder and creative director of Skymoon Creative in Toronto, and a director who has spent the past 12 years bringing stories to life — from music videos to commercial productions. One of my music videos earned sixteen awards from eight different countries. But what defines me today isn’t just my success behind the camera. 

I was born and raised in Turkey, where I witnessed the harsh reality faced by countless stray dogs — cold shelter cages, hunger, neglect. Those images have stayed with me. When I moved to Canada, I was met with a completely different sight: dogs running freely in parks, loved and cared for as true members of the family.

I know Turkey is not alone. Countries like Romania, India, Mexico, Russia, and Brazil also have countless stray dogs struggling to survive on the streets or in overcrowded shelters. Through this project, my mission is not only to make these dogs’ stories visible, but to share them with the world — to touch hearts, raise awareness, and spark change, even in the places where hope feels far away.
